The venue operate a strict door policy as anyone who's been there will already know. This was initially to keep underdressed Thai's out of the place but it also serves to keep their counterpart farangs out as well.

I suppose it's possible for one of the great unwashed to loiter paparazzi like around the entrance in the hope of catching a glimpse of one of us.

I can see now that I was foolish in the extreme to even suggest such an event in Thailand. It would seem that most of you have either a) lost what little culture & refinement that you may of once had or b) never had any culture or refinement in the first place.

To those who accepted my kind offer... I will be in touch with you privately in the very near future with a view to attending a more traditional Bangkok gathering.
